In Home Respite*

| The Jersey County Health Department is a provider for in-home respite care funded through Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland, Inc. Respite care is defined as an intermittent support services for the purpose of giving the client's primary caregiver the time away from in-home care giving demands. |

Respite care services provide companionship, simple assistance
and assure safety in the client's home during the absence of their caregiver.
Jersey County Health Department will assess the need and provide respite
care services to the client, if eligible.

| Jersey County Health Department's respite caregivers are Registered Certified Nursing Assistants and have had background checks done by the State of Illinois. |
| Referrals for this service can be made by anyone including a family member, physician, church or any organization. If yourself, a loved one or someone you know is in need of this service, please contact the Jersey County Health Department at (618) 498-9565. |
