Immunization are given to infants and children by appointment on clinics held on Thursdays. Call for an appointment.
Children ages birth through 18 years qualify for the Vaccines for Children program if they:
- have Medicaid coverage
- are American Indian or Alaskan natives
- do not have health insurance
- have health insurance that DOES NOT cover vaccinations
VFC fees: $20/ injection Jersey County residents ; $22/ injection out-of-county residents.
Children who qualify for the VFC program shall not be denied vaccinations if unable to pay the administration fee or make a donation. The VFC program accepts Medicaid for payment.
Children who have medical insurance that covers vaccinations DO NOT qualify for the Vaccines for Children program. We have agreements with the following insurance carriers to provide vaccinations to their members:
- Blue Cross/ Blue Shield
- Health Alliance
- United Healthcare
If we do not have an agreement with your insurance carrier to provide vaccinations, you are required to pay for your child’s vaccines and seek reimbursement from the insurance carrier.
