Jersey County Health Department will be offering Flu and Pneumonia
immunizations to adults (age 19 and older)
at their facility located at 1307 State Hwy. 109, Jerseyville.
No appointment is necessary.*
Separate clinics are scheduled for infants and children at another time.

Seasonal flu shots are given each year. One pneumonia shot is usually
sufficient for a lifetime, however certain recommendations are made to
repeat them. This can be discussed with you at the clinic. We accept cash,
check, Medicaid, and Medicare B. Flu and pneumonia immunizations are covered
by Medicare B under certain guidelines. Bring your Medicare card to verify
coverage. Cost is $32.00 for flu vaccine and $75.00 for a pneumonia
vaccine at the clinic. Individuals covered by a Medicare HMO must go to
another provider to receive the vaccine at no charge.

Children's Flu Clinics by Appointment
(Age 6 months through 18 years)
All persons age 6 months and older are recommended to receive influenza
vaccine. Some children ages 6 months through 8 years may need two doses.
If this pertains to your child, the nurse will discuss it with you.

Flu shots and nasal spray flu vaccines will be available for children through age 18 years old by appointment on the following dates:

Cost is $15 for Jersey County residents and $16 for non-county residents through the Vaccines for Children Program.
Check, cash, and Medicaid are accepted. No one is turned away for the inability to pay.
