The Jersey County Health Department offers environmental health services which focus on controlling disease causing factors in the environment through prevention and education.

The six programs involved are retail food protection, private sewage, private water, vector control, nuisance control and commercial tanning facilities.

Each program is briefly discussed to better help you understand the environmental health services provided at your public health department.
