Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU)
TATU is a peer education program sponsored by Jersey County Health Department and Jersey CUSD #100. High school students in TATU at Jersey Community High School act as peer role models and present programs about the harmful effects of tobacco use. Activities TATU students participate in include the Homecoming Parade, the Great American Smokeout, and Kick Butts Day. TATU students also participate in the 5th Grade Health Fair and present smoking prevention programs to the 5th grade students attending the fair.
